Hi, my name is Marion and along with Lynette we are the Marionettes. We teach line dancing in the Doncaster area of South Yorkshire.

Line dancing is great fun, good exercise and can help to improve your memory and co-ordination. You don’t need a partner and it is a great way to get out and make new friends.

Dances are made up of steps done to one, two or four walls, this means you learn a few steps facing one wall, and then turn to face another wall and repeat the sequence all over again. Easy eh?

Classes are suitable for Beginners through to Easy Intermediate level, and all dances are marked out before putting on the music to remind everyone what to do.

The music we use today is quite varied, from Country and Latin to Rock & Roll. With a repertoire of old and new dances. We do NOT teach a new dance every week as we prefer to let you enjoy a dance before going on to learn another new one.

We welcome one and all to come and join us at any of our line dancing sessions, so whether you are new to line dancing or would like to return after a break why not pop along and give it a try.
